Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart was the Guest of Honor at Avionica’s recent Grand Opening, celebrating the move to new facilities at 9941 West Jessamine Street, Miami, Florida 33157. Avionica completed the move to the new 30,000 square foot campus on two acres in January of this year. The building provides triple the space of the previous facilities.
In addition to congressman Diaz-Balart, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Dennis Moss and a variety of local community leaders joined in the celebration, also attended by friends, family, vendors, and customers. Visitors were given guided tours of the facilities and product demonstrations, after which a buffet lunch was served.
Congressman Balart praised Avionica's growth and commitment to the advancement of military flight operations quality assurance (MFOQA).

Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart has been instrumental in assisting Avionica to secure funding for the Navy’s installation of Avionica Flight Data Recorders on their legacy fleet of F-18 aircraft. Under the MFOQA-Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance/Flight Data Analysis Initiative, the Navy will be able to collect, analyze, and monitor crucial flight data from the F-18 aircraft.
