Ground Replay is Just the
Beginning.
AVSCAN is so much more than a DFDR Data Ground Replay
System. From its core architecture to its user interface and rich
feature set, AVSCAN.flight has steadily grown to become the benchmark
for flight data analysis.
Proven. AVSCAN has gained
a growing worldwide following at airlines, militaries, airframe
and engine OEMs, repair stations, research groups, regulatory
agencies, accident investigation boards, and educational institutions.
Be in good company.
Intuitive. We designed
AVSCAN from the ground up as an integrated DFDR Data Analysis package,
placing all information and tools in easy reach. AVSCAN is pure
drag-and-drop simplicity. Written to take advantage of the 32-bit
Windows user interface, AVSCAN is
simple to learn.
Parameters are displayed in Dataviews designed to
portray parameters in meaningful arrangements using both tabular
and graphic data. Dataviews are designed to group
related parameters as independent and dependent items. This arrangement
enables
cross-correlation of parameters, the accepted means of determining
functionality.
Though advanced class instruction is available for
power users, most get up and running without even opening the manual.
Lean. No need for SQL
servers or broadband networks here. AVSCAN is workstation-based.
Its compact data format supports both ramp-side and desktop work
with equal ease. Conversion databases are folded into the data file,
while raw data remains unchanged.
Collaborative data analysis is thus possible worldwide, even when
remote parties cannot access a common database. And our ingenious
format leaves the raw data unaltered,
so its still accessible to other ground replay systems!
Configurable. Parameter
formulae can be modified at any time without data loss. AVSCAN doesnt
store converted data, but instead computes it on the fly. This means
a parameter definition can be easily updated and the data refreshed
in seconds. Our comprehensive, context-sensitive, parameter editor
is second to none. Not only does it support all current and legacy
data conversion types, it enables users to test their formulae,
scan data frames for conflicts, and even calculate mandated correlation
coefficients
all at the touch of a button. See why OEMs are
using AVSCAN to develop data frames for new aircraft
and tap
our library of hundreds of ready aircraft conversion databases.
Powerful. Unlike others,
AVSCAN isnt just a viewer, its a sophisticated, integrated
analysis environment. Whatever your goal, you can achieve it with
AVSCAN. Whether searching for
maintenance checks, or even proving the value of a FOQA/FDM system,
intermittent in-flight sensor failure, verifying an engine over-temp,
or monitoring engine performance trends, performing mandatory AVSCAN
has you covered. With AVSCAN, you can create Computed
(derived) Parameters, define Events (tests) based on multiple triggers,
and even associate Anomalies of various severities to Event results.
Universal. AVSCAN supports most DFDR data formats natively. Whether
your data originated from an L3 Communications,
Honeywell, or other recorder, and regardless of whether you used
an Avionica RSU, Honeywell HHDLU, L3 Communications PAU, or Austin
Digital UCR to collect it, AVSCAN will open it right up! AVSCAN
can also EXPORT your templates (conversion formulae) for use in
the RSU, and even emerging ARINC FRED formats.
Supported. AVSCAN is
backed by a library of over 400 aircraft configurations, both new
and legacy, and supported by our world-class Technical Services
Group. Our Readout Services Team has over 100 years combined experience
in the field, including years of service
at Boeing, McDonnell-Douglas, Sundstrand, Martin-Marietta, and TWA.
We can help you through the most challenging of applications. Now
in its 50th release, AVSCAN is the product of seven years of continuous
refinement and customer input.
