Description: RSU Portable Test Interface (PTI) for
L3™ model FA-2100 flight data recorders. Provides on-aircraft
monitoring and data readout capability to RSU memory for subsequent
translation and analysis. Supports ARINC 573/717 and 542 operating
modes. Transcribes at up to 500 times recording speed (500:1). A
complete transcription may be accomplished in approximately 5 minutes.
Resulting data file is L3 Proprietary .FDT file. L3 decompression
software may be required (Avionica AVSCAN includes decompression
utility).
