Description: RSU Portable Test Interface (PTI)
for L3™ model FA-2100 flight data recorders. Provides on-aircraft
monitoring and data readout capability to RSU memory for subsequent
translation and analysis. Same as 802-0152, but provides for readout
from rear connector using bulkhead mounted connector (M83723/71R1624N)
or equivalent, as applied in typical military applications. Transcribes
at up to 500 times recording speed (500:1). A complete transcription
may be accomplished in approximately 5 minutes. Resulting data file
is L3 Proprietary .FDT file. L3 decompression software may be required
(Avionica AVSCAN includes decompression utility).
