Description: BASE™ SCR 500 Audio Breakout Fixture
(ABF). The ABF provides bench level interconnect, connecting the
SCR-500 rear connector to the various inputs and outputs required
to perform audio playback and record.
Power input connections are provided to allow the
(switched) supply of 115VAC or 28VDC
to necessary equipment. Both 28VDC and 115VAC inputs are available.
Connection to the SCR-500 is effected via directly mating the rear
of the ABF to the rear connector of the
SCR-500. Power supplied to the ABF front panel located connector
is then routed to the
SCR-500 as well as necessary internal circuitry.
Once the ABF is mated to the SCR-500, the user can
connect to the various input and output signals and switch between
record and replay mode. Visual indication is provided to show the
status of power, mode and FDR and CVR fault signals supplied by
the SCR-500.
The ABF is used in conjunction with the Ruggedized
Service Unit (RSU), to command the initiation of audio replay. The
BASE™ SCR 500 PTI, part number 802-0145 is required for replay.
