Description: RSU Portable Test Interface (PTI) for Honeywell (Sundstrand) 981-6009-XXXX Series DFDRs. Provides bench download capability for Sundstrand™ DFDR model 981-6009 series flight data recorders. Interface mates to two internally mounted connectors, which may be accessed by removing the recorder cover. The original design of this recorder did not include these connectors, requiring the media be removed and read on dedicated playback equipment. Check for the presence of this modification before ordering. Transcribes at 2 times recording speed (2:1), or about 12.5 hours.
