Description: RSU Portable Test Interface (PTI) for
L3™ (Fairchild™ /Loral™) model F1000 flight data
recorders. Provides on-aircraft monitoring and transcription capability
to RSU memory for subsequent translation and analysis. Supports
both ARINC 542A and ARINC 573/717 operating modes. Transcribes at
100 times recording speed (100:1). A complete transcription may
be accomplished in just over 15 minutes. Resulting data file is
L3 Proprietary .FDT file. L3 decompression software may be required
(Avionica AVSCAN includes decompression utility).
