Description: RSU Portable Test Interface (PTI) for
L3 Communications™ (Loral™) F800 model recorders. Provides
on-aircraft monitoring and data transcription capability for L3
model F800 flight data recorders. Interface mates to front connector.
Supports both ARINC 542A and ARINC 573/717 operating modes. Does
not support ARINC 542 (5-parameter mode in 17M- series below). Transcribes
at 6 times recording speed (6:1), completing a readout in just over
4 hours for subsequent transfer to analysis system.
