Main Window

Avionica’s LOAD615AWin High Speed Ethernet Data Load application supports data loading of ARINC 615A devices such as the Boeing Class III Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and Airbus ATSU. LOAD615AWin was selected by the Boeing Company to support factory loading of the Boeing Class III EFB.

Flexible
Unlike competitive solutions, LOAD615AWin requires no proprietary computing platform. LOAD615AWin can execute on any COTS PC or tablet configured with MS Windows 2000/XP and an Ethernet port, including Avionica’s RSU II. LOAD615AWin can be used with existing ATE and Shop Data Load equipment to support ‘off-aircraft’ loading of ARINC 615A-compliant LRUs, such as those installed on the A380, B787, and B747-8.

Comprehensive
LOAD615AWin includes a simple to navigate graphical user interface for performing Find, Get Info, Operator Defined Download, Media Defined Download, and Upload functions specified in ARINC 615A-2 and 615A-3. The user interface includes windows for listing all ARINC 615A compliant systems resident on the aircraft Local Area Network (LAN), the available Loadable Software Airplane Part (LSAP) sources, and a window for scheduling target systems and LSAPs to be loaded. An LRU Info dialogue box is provided that displays the selected systems’ identification and configuration information as provided by the Find and Get Info functions of the ARINC 615A protocol.

Powerful
Several aircraft systems can be scheduled for simultaneous data load. A progress/status window indicates the progress of each LRU load session as the load is performed. If an error condition is encountered, the load session will progress to the next LRU in the load schedule and perform that LRU load. A log file is captured containing the actions performed during the load session. The log file can be automatically transferred to a designated directory on the customer network when the data load session is completed or terminated by the operator.

Secure
Selected buttons are password protected to only permit an administrator to add or delete datasets, or to change the folder path where LOAD615Awin searches for load modules.

Part of the Wired Aircraft
LOAD615Awin can also be deployed on EFBs. When further interfaced with your wireless network via satLINK, secureLINK, or other TWLU, it can maintain the data loader's LRU software library current using Avionica’s avSYNC server, ensuring:

• Dataloader images remain synchronized with your server data
• Current dataloader images are always available, anytime, anywhere
• Fleet update status is available in near real-time

As aircraft become more data-centric environments, maintaining data load currency can make the difference between a successful or failed program deployment.
