Avionica introduces the industry’s first USB 2.0 ARINC 615 Data Loader. Avionica’s 615 Data Loader provides groundbreaking performance over a USB 2.0 Interface at an affordable price. Unlike monolithic portable data loaders or PCMCIA interface devices, Avionica’s 615 data loader software uses our USB-based ARINC-429 interface to communicate with target LRUs. It is compatible with both ARINC 615-3 and ARINC 615-4 compliant devices.
NOTE: Requires purchase of 800-0630 USB429win ARINC 429 interface and analysis software.
Load Fast
The USB-429 interface enables users to leverage existing USB 2.0 - equipped notebook computers or interface to our RSU II touch-screen Ruggedized Service Unit for the ultimate in convenience. Either way, our intuitive Windows XPTM - based dataloader software loads target LRUs up to twice as fast as the common aircraft - mounted floppy disk drive, saving time and money.
Load with Confidence
Load modules are uploaded from mass storage device. They may be added to the LOAD615win database from any floppy disk, compact flash drive or other mass storage devices that can be accessed as a disk drive. As the modules are loaded a 32-bit CRC is generated in accordance with ARINC 665, 666, and 667 to ensure the integrity of the load module in future data loads.
Load Securely
Selected buttons are password protected to only permit an administrator to add or delete datasets, or to change the folder path where LOAD615win searches for load modules.
Load Flexibly
Load module selections can be pre-defined and associated with an aircraft type or tail number for maximum ease of use. Alternatively, load modules may be manually selected by filename from a drop-menu. Each load module contains a configuration file to adjust the timing of the data load and log data if specified.
Part of the Wired Aircraft
LOAD615win can also be deployed on the RSU II OnBoard, a cabin access terminal serving crew and maintenance needs. RSU II OnBoard interfaces with your wireless network via satLINK or other TWLU to maintain Data Loader images current through the Avionica AVsync server. satLINK also interfaces to the aircraft-mounted data loader port, creating a seamless, certified data loading solution that ensures:
• Dataloader images remain synchronized with your server data
• Current dataloader images are always available on demand
• Fleet update status is available in near real-time
As aircraft become more data-centric environments, maintaining data load currency can make the difference between a successful or failed program deployment.
